Welcome to VeNews, the newsletter for Vesper Society friends.

Vesper Society Launches YouTube Channel

Every day Vesper Society and its partners address issues ranging from equitable access to health care and economic justice to religious pluralism and youth development. Although the stories of our work are diverse, at their core they reflect an ongoing commitment to social justice in an ever-changing world. Now, we have a new way of sharing our stories with you.

You can find the Society on YouTube at www.youtube.com/user/VesperSociety. Our new channel debuts with videos about life-changing work spearheaded by SaveAct in South Africa’s Eastern Cape and highlights from an informative conversation with noted journalist Gustav Niebuhr on the nature of interfaith dialogue.

If you are new to YouTube, in addition to the featured video located in the middle of the web page, you will notice a set of “playlists” on the right-hand side. There you will find videos grouped according to particular events or Vesper Society Issue Areas. Some of this content has been generated by the Society. Others were created by like-minded peers and friends whose missions align with ours. In either case, we encourage you to become a free subscriber to our channel, to add us to your favorites or playlist, and to offer comments. For YouTube basics, visit www.google.com/support/youtube.

In the weeks and months to come, we look forward to sharing more stories on YouTube—as well as Facebook—as we continue our work with others around the world to live out the principles of service, stewardship, compassion, community, and justice.
